Planning stage.
Producing the necessary documentation for the definition of the system's configuration
The aim of the planning stage is to produce documentation that allows for the definition of the system's configuration and for its relative installation plans to be drawn up, as well as the way in which the system will be monitored and controlled.
During this phase the acquisition of design-input elements (input data), carried out by means of a fact-finding inspection, is very important.
The planning documentation supplies the following elements:
- Distances and progressive positioning of the rail contact (warning and all-clear)
- Size of the worksite (length) and a maximum speed of the train in transit
- Identification of control unit (serial number and expiry date of inspection)
- Safety time
The ATWS project is developed by our designer and verified by the individual who coordinates the execution of the work (CEL) who may, at this stage, work in collaboration with an ATWS designer from RFI. Validation of the project allows for the closing of the planning phase and for proceeding with the ATWS installation.
