The project planning phase includes a site inspection and the drawing up of precise planning documents taking into account all relevant data such as distances and position of track contacts, construction site dimensions as well as the maximum speed of trains, the control centre and safety times. The system configuration and installation diagram are then defined along with the procedures for system checks.
The automatic warning system is installed in five steps: provision of materials, installation on site, technical acceptance, site staff tests and training. The system is customised to meet site-specific conditions.
